STEWARD Sir Peter du Gaunt Noir.

Here Yea all and pray attend for here do I announce things of great interest and import to the populace and notable others of these Western Shores of Lochac.

In the first weekend of June (Public Holiday Yay!) this year there shall be a held a Camping Weekend which will include a Tournament to select the Pencampwr gan Abertridwr, (Canton Tournament Champion).

To encourage the populace to witness this Inaugural Pencampwr Tourney, the following activities will also be scheduled at the weekend for your entertainment and participation.

Friday Evening a Soup-fest and Bardic circle for the eager, enthusiastic or brave souls who venture out into the days last light.
Saturday will see opening Court in the morning followed by the Tournament to select the Pencampwr gan Abertridwr, and Saturday night there will be a Feast held with an Arthurian/Camelot Theme to celebrate the many victories and renown gained that day.
Sunday there will be an Archery list and Melees of all types, we have access to a largish open field and an extensive Forrest (if I can be half French the bush there can be a Forrest) for wars and archery combat.
Sunday Evening after such warlike activities or the alternative and less energetic gentler arts, sciences or service activities, which will also be run there will be a Tavern Night (BYOD) complete with wenches, gaming, food, dancing and tall tales to enthuse the weary travellers.
Monday Morning after breakfast will be set aside for closing Court and a relaxed session of packing up.

The weekend will also witness a variety of Arts and Sciences competitions to test the mettle of local artisans and display the riches of their creativity.

Powered camp sites will be available for those hardy souls who wish to tent it in the small forest. Limited inside camping also available for those less hardy souls ….. or potentially more sensible? Under table space will be available for those who are sobriety challenged, tentless or for those among us unable to organise there own sleeping arrangements, and don’t mind being woken up before breakfast….

So pay close attention to your Pegasus, Vine or Rhol for further details and updates for this weekend of spiritually uplifting jolly good fun.

In frenchship and fun
