FOOD & FEASTING DETAILS
        
You will need to bring food for Breakfast on Saturday, Sunday and Monday,
and lunch for Sunday and Monday. Everything else is catered.

Friday Night is

 The Bastion Fireside Gathering

Starting from 7pm on Friday night, in the warmth of several portable stoves, Bastion will be providing a light meal for everyone.                                                                                            
The Steward of the Bastion Fireside Gathering is Kane Greymane.


Breakfasts BYO or Order ($5.00 extra per day)

If you'd like to order breakfast (ham, eggs etc), please place your order when you book. It only costs $15.00 for the whole weekend to have your breakfast included. Orders and Bookings must be in by Saturday 24th of May.


Saturday Lunch is The College Sausage Sizzle

The College of St. Basil will be selling hot dogs to raise money for the UWA club.


Saturday Night is

The Varangian Tavern 

The Varangian Guard were an elite Viking bodyguard to the Byzantine Emperor, seated in Miklagaard (Constantinople), midway between the East and the West.

At the Varangian Tavern we will try to recreate the bawdy atmosphere of a Byzantine alehouse - a place where status and rank are forgotten in the comraderie to found amongst family, friends and sword brothers.

There will be -

Drinking (BYO)
Gaming
Bawdy Ballads
Saucy Wench Competition
Drumming
Singing

And possibly:
Fire-Eating  & Belly Dancers!

Sunday Night is The High Feast

The feast in the "Long Hall" to celebrate the victory of the new Pencampwr and Arobryn.  A period Viking Feast of several removes will be served, including:

Lamb/Mutton with Garlic and Mint butter
Honey Roasted Chicken
Baked Fish in Bread (barley bread)*
Leek and Cheese Pie with Barley pastry

Best Viking Costume Competition
Best Viking Tale Competition (5 minutes maximum)
