Target Archery - Saturday Morning
Running concurrently with the Jarl's
Tourney this year will be the usual Saturday morning wakeup for archers
- off near the goal posts at the Southwest of the Oval.

Arts & Sciences Collegia
Running concurrently with many other events are a series of arts,
crafts and sciences classes. You will see these taking place amongst
the pavilions around the tourney field or the hall.

WAR - Saturday Afternoon
Various scenarios involving mixed
combat between heavies and archers will be run between 2pm and 5pm.
The War Steward is Conan o
Cuan Mor.
If
you'd
like to purchase some archery blunts (wooden shafts with rubber
stoppers on them - made to specific SCA Combat Archery requirements),
then contact Heath McKay as
soon as possible.

The Grand Hunt - Sunday Afternoon
This has become a regular feature of the Pencampwr Weekend.
Brave archers, dressed in full combat archery gear and armed with
combat blunts, venture forth into the nearby moors bordering the Forest
Adventurous to seek game.
Game comes in the form of both static targets and live (and armed!)
targets. Its recommended that hunters form themselves into bands of two
or three for their own protection!

Basic Combat Archery
Requirements:
18 gauge gorget, elbows and knees, each with
6mm of neoprene padding or equivalent.
16 gauge helmet with bar grill (each bar no more than 1 inch apart) and
crimsafe mesh, supported by 12mm of
padding
Kidney Belt of 3mm belt leather with 6mm padding to cover the kidneys
and floating ribs.
18 gauge steel or 4mm cuirboilli half guantlets to protect the hands.

Rapier Tourney - Monday Morning
This is an extremely well attended event. Last year saw eleven fencers
flaunting their stuff in jolly style!
This event is being run by the College of Saint Basil.
