We are the Illawarra branch of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism), a worldwide society that aims to reproduce the cultures of many pre-1600 civilizations - only with showers, flushing toilets and personal hygiene, and without the plague and quite so much dirt. We aim to recreate events that may have occurred within this time period through dress, food and activities such as armed combat.
