Within the SCA, in order to cultivate a medieval feel, places and institutions are given new names, thus SCA geography is rather different to the 20th Century variety. The "Known World" as it is called includes North America, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Canada and parts of Europe. All of this is divided into smaller Kingdoms, which are then divided into smaller regions. Adelaide University is known as The College of Blessed Herman the Cripple, which is part of the Barony of Innilgard (Adelaide), in the Kingdom of Lochac (Australia). As you can imagine this makes for interesting maps! Lochac became a Kingdom in its own right only this year. For more information on SCA geography have a look at the SCA web site.
