to the Shire of Bordescros, the Murray Region Branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (Australia), Inc. We are a pre-17th century medieval re-enactment group.

Our Shire lands cover the area from Wangaratta in the south to Wagga Wagga in the north, and from Tumbarumba and Falls Creek in the east to Mulwala in the west. We are proud to be part of the lands of the Kingdom of Lochac which includes both Australia and New Zealand. The Society for Creative Anachronism has now been operating in many parts of the world since 1966.

Our local group has been operating since 1998, and hosts a regular monthly Tournament and Feast as well as special events that attract participants from around Australia and sometimes overseas. Our main local activities include Heavy Armour fighting as well as Rapier and Archery in both a combat and tournament format. In addition we practice a wide variety of Arts and Sciences including costuming, cooking, brewing, music, dance, calligraphy and illumination, woodwork, metal smithing, and embroidery.

We welcome enquiries from anyone interested in finding out more about our activities. Please check the calendar for upcoming events to attend, or email us for more information at bordescros@sca.org.au
