Lady Sabine de Bernewelle

Sabine de Bernewelle (AA, OGT) is a 14th Century English lady, keeping castle while her husband is off fighting in France with the Earl of Oxford. Clement VI is pope, but his reach in England is limited. She amuses herself by playing with the children of the castle, and pretending to embroider. She likes to dance and sing, and dress in fashions that have yet to be invented.

Sabine is also the editor of Cockatrice, with 16 issues under her belt. She is the Alfoundre Herald for the Barony of Mordenvale and runs a tight Court. She also shares the duties of Baronial Chronicler with her husband, Rurik. She wayfares when she can, and likes to amuse any children she comes across with games of boffers, hide-and-seek and the fox and goose.

Caitlin Macpherson/Paton was married to Ben last year and has two small children, Angus and Anna. She is trying to decide which of her two surnames to use. She also likes to sing, and dance (if The Wiggles’ “Hot Potato” counts) and is passionate about correct baby nutrition, to whit: breastfeeding exclusively until 6 months if mother and baby are able, and plenty of breastfeeding after that. She graduated from Newcastle University with a BA (Communication Studies) degree in 2005, triple majoring in Journalism, PR and Radio. She plans to put her degree to good use when her baby-induced brain fog lifts. In the mean time, her foggy ramblings can be examined here.
