Writing for Cockatrice!
Cockatrice is always searching for people who have knowledge they can share. If that is you, Cockatrice needs you to submit articles. The editorial team is always available to help with polishing up articles, providing guidance to new authors, and giving writers someone unconnected to their project to run information past. If we know what you mean, our readers will too. Why should you submit an article? Because sharing your new pattern for shoes, tablet weaving designs or redacted recipe:
- increases knowledge in Lochac,
- allows people who have similar interests to find each other,
- brings talented people to the attention of the peerage, and
- helps you to bask in the glow of what you’ve achieved.
For more details you can see our submission guidelines, which are also published in the back of each Cockatrice issue. Please follow these guidelines as they make the experience of sharing easier for us all!
Submissions can be made by email or posted PC formatted floppy disc/CD. Our guidelines Also cover what sort of format to have this in and how to attach pictures. This helps our lovely editor to create the layout of Cockatrice. Please also include references if you have them as they help those who are using your article to start their own projects!
So apart from a lovely feeling of serving others and some great self-satisfaction at having your work published, what do you get out of this? Well, if the article in question is two pages or larger you will get a complimentary copy of that issue. A great way to keep your collection growing if your subscription is running low!
