Officers' Reports
Reeve:
- Balance currently around $2300, but about to pay the $350 tithe for the 07/08 year. Will hand over to Cathy after this is done.
A&S:
Constable:
- Nothing to report (a good thing!)
Marshall (Reported by Peter):
- No issues
- Friday night training usual numbers running about 4-6 heavies, 2-8 pokies and 2-10 twangers (some overlap in the last two groups)
Seneschal:
- Want to revisit the idea of getting a regular hall.
Issues Arising:
Hiring of regular hall.
Need to start looking at potential scout halls/school halls/church halls/sports pavilions
Brainstorm of hall features we want to look at/for when looking at potential halls
- Size
- Price (regular hire? Discount if 6 months paid in advance?)
- Multiple spaces?
- Kitchen facilities
- Toilets
- Accessibility of toilets
- Outdoor area
- Parking
- Public transport
- High ceilings – no low light fittings
- Fussiness re scratches on floor
- Storage space
- Curfew?
- Back street/major road?
