Lochac May Crown
AS XXXVIII
Held in the Shire of Arrowsreach to decide the third Crowns of the Sovereign Kingdom of Lochac
The Shire of Arrowsreach played host to the Tourney to decide who who succeed on the Thrones of Lochac when King Cornelius and Queen Morwenna stepped down. Located in the hills to the east of the Barony of Stormhold, Arrowsreach has a mild climate, beautiful countryside and warm and welcoming folk. Many gathered to contest the Crown Tourney, or to indulge in the pleasures of the table and witness the spectacle.
The tourney format was the traditional single kill, double elimination with the final to be best of three. Many were the blows rained down on opponents, and while all fought most valiantly, and with honour, there could be but two doughty warriors in the final. Sir Leofric Willoughby de Brock and Viscount Sir Alaric of Bangor, inspired by their consorts, were the two who stood at the end of the day.
After a short break to recompose themselves, and so that the consorts might join Her Majesty to view the final, the two finalists clashed. The fighting was extended, and obviously taxed the last of the combatants endurance and strength, but at long last Viscount Sir Alaric prevailed, and won the right to Crown Nerissa Queen.
