On the 16th of April XXXIX, starting at one o'clock pm, Baron Master Gwynfor Lwydwycz is opening his Polish manor for a day of Hunting and Feasting. There promises to be hunting games for all to participate in, a show of arms in the form of Boffer Tourneys & a Fighter Auction Tourney and a High feast in the Polish style of the manor. Competition will be held for the best "Pole-ish" art or performance. Apart from the obvious benefits of a fun event, there was a serious ulterior motive behind all the activity. Having recently discovered that a long standing member of the Shire had been diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) the event organisers determined that the event should also act as a fund-raiser for the MS Society. To this end, the day raised in excess of $350.

The games for the day included Spear hunting for rabbit, fox, badger, boar and stag, tilting at the quintain, kubb, chess, backgammon, arm & thumb wrestling, rock/paper/scissors, staring competitions, a truffle hunt and a spelling bee.

Guests were divided into 2 teams (blue and gold, for the colours of Master Gwynfor, and incidentally, Krae Glas's hues as well), and in all 65 competitors took part in the veritable plethora of frolics, festivities and fun. Overall, the gold team, ably managed by Lady Genevieve la Fayette and m'lady Laura was victorious, though the blue team made a late run for the podium.
