Theme: Top frame represent the brewers, and bottom frame the many cooks (including cooking laurels and pelicans) in Krae Glas. The pig being cooked has extra significance as Krae Glas has had a couple of weekends where whole pigs were roasted in a pit. The middle panel shows a lady picking herbs and represents the many gardeners (especially herb growers - many the same as the cooks) and garden designers in the shire. The beehive is a reference to apurist Lord Sui Zo.

Theme: A group of uni students form a plan to form a new college. And thus with much veneration of St Monica ("may the fourth be with you") patron saint of alcoholics and lost causes, was the college of St Monica born.
