Stefano was laurelled on 21 April at Rowany Festival AS XXXVII by King Cornelius and Queen Morwynna

Bio: Stefano da Urbino was born in Central Italy in 1471. He has a clever brain for numbers, and was given a first class education under Ducal patronage. In 1494 he left the indolent lifestyle of an intinerant polymath and courtier to become a condotierri, or soldier of fortune, in the wars between the Italian city states and the kingdoms of France and Spain. He longs to be knighted, but shows better prowess as a scrivener, strategist, tactician and logistician, particularly with provisions, than as a fighter. (Not that he can't dish it out as good as he gets in wars, mind you.) After many wars, travels and adventures, he is privileged to have been made a Master of the Laurel, and a Baron of the Court of the Kingdom of Lochac. He is happily married to Mistress Sancha da Sylva OP, and has a child, two cats, and a country house in Transalpine Darton (Featherston, NZ).
