December Report
A few monthly tourney's were held since the last report, the attendence was
small and repetitive, but it was good practice. The points gained at these
went towards points for fighting and chivilry awards handed out at Four
Winds Feast is November.
The winner of the most points earnt by winning and attending Shire tourneys
was Adam the Renegade, the most chivilrous as voted by the Populace was
Aonghus mac Greigor.
The tourney to decide Shire Champion at Four Winds was attended by six
fighters: Adam the Renegade, Aonghus mac Greigor, Thaddeus Blayney, Bleddyn
ap Guyver, Sir Loyola Juan Sanchez Mendoza and Ailis ingen Meave. The first
four of which were contending the Shire Championship. Adam was the clear
winner, beating Sir Loyola in the final in two straight bouts. He will
remain Champion for another year.
The Marshal of the day was Adam, with Heinrich Maximillian von Hess
assisting as Marshall in Training. All authorisation cards were up to date
and waivers were signed.
We aim to start a new round of tourneys in 2008 once the silly season is
settled.
