The days dry, windy heat made for a challenging tournament and extended the time taken. Lord Fagan was the winner of the tournament (his first tournament win), however Baroness Ingerith chose Lady Eva as her Champion. Lord Dragon and Lord Felix took part in the tournament but were ineligible to be chosen as Champion, being the previous Champion and Baron’s Champion respectively.

Tournament held to choose the baron’s champion for the coming year. Each fighter was expected to use an unfamiliar weapon combination for one round of the tournament. Felix Arnett won by a clear distance and was announced as the baron’s Champion. The remaining six fighters scored very closely and placings were determined by a countback.
