LOCHAC MUSIC PROJECT

A database of music is being created to allow people across Lochac to access pre 1600 music. In the meanwhile, this webpage has been created to fill the need.

Music on this page was created using a program called NoteWorthy Composer. This program was chosen because it is simple to use, inexpensive to purchase, and a there is an excellent free trial version available, maximising the access that people will have to the programs. NoteWorthy allows you to print manuscripst and to export files as midis. Be warned that very little tweaking has taken place on the midis, they are simply to give people an idea of what the tunes sound like, and may not be very beautiful; I hope to improve them over time.

Please note that these arrangements are free for distribution within the Society for Creative Anachronism only. Should you wish to use these for non-sca purposes, you must contact the arranger for permission. You can email Kiriel regarding this and she will put you in contact with the appropriate person.
