Newcomers Feast and Tourney

The Newcomers Feast and Tourney is organised by the College of St Crispins. The theme for the event is a Middle Eastern feast.

In the year 1451, after many battles with the Hungarians and Wallachians, Sultan Murad II celebrated his victory by releasing all of the many thousands of prisoners taken during the war. Come and enjoy an Ottoman Banquet to celebrate this act of nobility and generosity.

When: 4th March, 2006
Times: 6 pm Hall opens, Feast starts at 6.30pm

Cost of Event: FREE if its your first event
St Crispins and Members $20, Non Members $25

Other Details: It is recommended that people bring some nice cushions to sit on for the Feast.

It is likely that there will be an Arts and Sciences collegia held at this event. Details will be made available when a decision has been made.

PLEASE NOTE:

There will be a tourney and market day on the 5th of March at the school. People are encouraged to bring not only goods for sale but also SCA items they no longer want or need. We will also be offering excess hospitaller gear for sale. This should be a good way for newcomers to get some of the things they may need for Rowany Festival.
