What We Do!

The best way to see what we do is to come along to Merewether High School, Newcastle, on a Sunday afternoon. If you aren't sure where that is, a map has been included below to help guide you to us.  We generally meet from 1pm in Winter and about 3pm in Summer. Aim to arrive about 1 hour after our usual start time as then you will be able to see many people doing "stuff".

When we get together on Sunday's we call this "Gathering", and it is an informal meeting place for those who are like minded to get together and socialise, catch-up, archers do archer stuff, heavy fighters put on armour and beat each other up. There is sewing, dancing, music and other such activities going on. We try to encourage the wearing of "garb" (medieval clothing), but this is not mandatory on Sundays. There is no cost to come along to Sunday Gathering. Tell your friends - they just may have a hidden interest in the middle ages too!
