How Can I get Involved?
Getting involved is really a lot of fun. For most activities excluding Combat, the Society for Creatived Anachronism does not have any age restrictions to participate.
What we Do
There's basically two different types of activity. There are:
You don't need to wear special clothing to at our regular meetings - however you are required to make an attempt at pre C17th clothing if you attend an event. Don't have a thing to wear? That's no problem. We have spare clothing that we can lend you for an event, and we can help you make your own equipment.

We like to know if you are interested in turning up to anything, so that we can make sure that someone will be looking out for you. If you would like to turn up to something, you can drop us an email. One of our officers will endevour to respond to you within 24 hours. They will be able to answer some questions, and certainly refer onto you to someone for further information and support.
Age requirements
- If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or guardian attend with you.
- If this is not sustainable over a period of time, there are forms available for your participate provided that there is someone willing to take responsibility for you while attending that your parents approve of.
- There are age restrictions regarding Combat.
