Welcome to the home page of the University of Wollongong Mediaeval Society (otherwise known as the SCA College of Saint Malachy)! 

Within this site you'll be able to find information about the SCA, its activities and how to get involved. So browse at your leisure and if our group interests you, contact us. If you are already a member of the SCA then please take a look at our fun-loving College and learn more about us. 

Regular Events

Fighting practice

Our weekly fighter practice is at the main university campus. It is held near the South Western carpark near the student accomodation. We start training at 7:30pm on Wednesday evenings if the weather is fine.



Arts and Sciences

Our weekly Arts & Sciences Meetings are being held on campus on Monday evenings and starts at 7.30 p.m. in Building 19.G024. If there isn't anyone in the room we may have all gone to the dancing room in Building.Room 19.G026 which is also being held Mondays 7.30 - 9.30p.m. during session. In addition, during session there is a weekly Monday lunchtime meeting held on campus in 19.2043 from 12:30 - 1:30p.m.. There is also a monthly Sunday afternoon Arts & Science meeting held in Wollongong.

Arts & Sciences include theory, instruction and practice in areas diverse as costuming, cookery, illumination, calligraphy and obviously dance as well as others as people show interest. Please contact the Seneschal (details in regnum) to confirm location information before any meeting in case of late minute changes.

Collegia

Every first saturday of the month. The University of Wollongong Medieval group runs a class on whatever interests them at the time. You can vote for classes and makes suggestions by sending an email to the seneschal detailing what classes you would like and put your vote to the ones already discussed.
