Barony of Aneala

The Barony of Aneala, brightly shining star on the west coast of Lochac, does invite one and all to come visit and play with us for the Winter Coronation of the Heirs of Berenger and Bethan, Their Most Royal Majesties King and Queen of Lochac.

Running from Friday the 4th of July to Sunday the 6th of July, the event will include dancing, diverse entertainments, live musicians and repasts of succulent splendor. Arts and Science competitions, fêtes of martial endeavour, tests of Archers skill, games of skill and chance, old friends, new friends and good company.

Camping or dormitory accommodation available. 6pm Friday the 4th of July to 12pm Sunday the 6th. Billeting is available for those who wish to come earlier or stay longer in the West.

Learn the basic elements of this age-old craft.
Add extra skills to your woodworking.
Develop techniques to make different types of SCA gear.

How can this mighty challenge happen?

Using various resources within the region encompassed by the Suth Guild,
the Esteemed Brother Waldo Turner (Member or the Embittered Poor) will
be providing instruction on the day. There will be at least three wood
turning lathes and ancillary equipment available on the day and
instruction will be provided by him and his little helpers on their use.

Stormhold Winterfeast - "Yule in July"

This years winterfeast theme is "Yule in July" - come celebrate this
festive time with your SCA family and friends. Wassail, Yule Logs
burning on the outside fires, caroling, dancing - all part of the
festivities planned for the evening.
