Discussion of appropriate tourney sites, including use of sunshades and substitutes for the use of pegs.
Calendar
20th or 27th of September AS XLI (2007) will be 20th Anniversary of Barony. Bidding for Bal d’Argent was discussed. As was suitable hall for MidWinter.
It was AGREED to organise dance practice over the six weeks leading up, with suitable advertising. Mistress Elanor likely available. Mistress Miriam and Baron Lorenzo both offered to help teaching beginning dance. Possibility that Wystan may also be interested was raised.
Possibility of a Cooks Guild meeting with potluck discussed.
Purchasing
Use of either merchant card service (trading account with references) or Cash&Carry card was discussed.
Kensington Tuesday night meetings
Rehire for next year AGREED.
Surveying Expedition
Required facilities discussed, purchase of needed materials APPROVED. Need for greater publication of event discussed.
Yarra Valley Demo
Aim is to turn up and look pretty. Hopefully dance, presentation feast, games—if enough people. Attendance is free for demonstrators. There will be a dormitory and “plastic tents” area. Will be at Yarra Valley Park (off Warburton Hwyy). Rostering the parents discussed.
