September, A&S Officer to organise.

General Business
Pearls of Wisdom
After discussion, it was AGREED to drop minor
rounds, to have a research A&S session, with the competition
re-launched at William Marshal. The suggestion that it be organised
by broad time periods was to be CONSIDERED by the A&S Officer.
Southern University
It was AGREED that "Artjox" would become 'The
Southern University', with outside teachers encouraged, no feast
(just use of the 'cooking stream'), in Spring (tentatively 23-24
October) to allow good spacing of events. Rauf offered to autocrat.
Website
It was AGREED it would be clearly labelled as the
Stormhold (not Victoria) website, WebScribe to organise.
Chronicler, WebScribe and A&S officer would seek ideas for
renovating and modernising the site, including making adding content
easier. The example of the Thames Regional Calendar was
recommended.

Also, moderation of Stormlist would be
reorganised.
Monthly Bash: Waivers and Site Fee
The Constable expressed forcefully being very
tired of chasing up exactly the same people for money and waivers at
Monthly Bash. It was AGREED that

  1. Ribbons would be tied around sleeve of
    people when they pay
  2. Troll and lists would not be at the same
    table
  3. Two fold-up tables would be purchased by the
Barony (A&S Officer was to look at possible cheap IKEA tables)
  4. The issue would be re-examined and, if the
ribbons were not working, further action taken against repeat
    offenders.

Cantonal Tithing
The existing Baronial policy – that, in return
for access to Baronial float, 10% of profits would be tithed from
all Cantonal Events was RE-AFFIRMED. (Note: this applies only to
those events covered by Kingdom policy on events: not regular
happenings such as trainings, A&S nights, etc.)

Geelong coverage
On the issue of Cairn Fail's boundaries
regarding Geelong, it was AGREED that any members would be asked by
the Seneschal for their preference.
Baronial Pavilion
It was AGREED that Waldo be approached by the
Baron for the replacement of the poles for the Baronial pavilion.
Hospitallery
It was AGREED that plastic containers by the
Baroness for the remainder of the hospitallery be PURCHASED.
Speccie Draca
It was AGREED that Roy and Bryce be both
approached by the Baroness about making replacements.

Autocrats and Feastocrats
William Marshal needs a Feastocrat. The A&S
Officer would talk to Helga/Von about it.
Mistress Miriam offered to Autocrat Moonlight
Revel, which would not be on the same weekend as Fabian’s party.
A park in Brunswick was suggested.
It was AGREED that, as part of its
reorganisation, the website would include a database of information
on suitable (and unsuitable) halls and similar information for
stewards and feastocrats.
There was a lively discussion about reviving
small events within the Barony, including Cantonal coverage.
Meeting closed at 9.50pm.
