We've just come home from the Investiture of Innilgard's newest Baron and Baroness, Aylwin and Ingereth. It was lovely to see so many Stormholders wayfaring, meeting new people and having a good time.

Our thanks to the people who came to the demo at the State Library Medieval Fair Day, we've received some good advertising and are likely to see more new faces as people come to check us out. Please remember to make them feel welcome.

We are really pleased to see people taking on tasks and activities. Our thanks this month to Madelina who is organising dancing, and Fridr who arranged the potluck for our New Year Celebration. Also, we will be having a Midwinter Event! Thanks to Rauf and Ava for taking on this task - look out for more information is this Stormscroll.

Event planning is starting for the Baronial Birthday event on 20 September. The Barony will be twenty years old. We have a hall, now we just need a cook, musicians, hall decorators, entertainers and other enthusiastic participants. We also need your ideas for interesting ways to present the history of the Barony and make the event something that all of Lochac will remember - plays, poetry, banners, flags and other displays.
