Tuesday night Fighter training

Greetings all;

A big thank to all who came along to the start of the new year at our
new venue. Those attending enjoyed the BBQ sausages and the great
company.

Thanks to those who helped organise to room, put on armour, helped
with the BBQ and generally enjoyed the new setting.

It seems that the Coulson Reserve soccer pavilion is a bit tricky
actually find! It's in a triangle of land between Heidelberg road, the
railway line and the Merri creek.

The easiest entrance is to go to Clifton Hill railway station and the
head north up John Street and go through/under the bridge.

If you are in westgarth, you're in the wrong suburb, and the only way
to get to the pavilion is on foot.

For GPS users, the GPS will guide you to the top of the Clifton Hill
overpass! No so helpful. You would be at the right place but the wrong
elevation!

The Stormhold website has all the details including parking, access
and a map with routes

In armour were

Vandal
Waldo
Cathhail
Brodhir
Rodrigo

Things to remember;
We need to make a list field as the City of Yarra require us to have physical barrier between us and the public.
We can turn this unlikely event into a benefit by making some nice list field corners.

Lighting The Oval light need to be turned off at 9:30 pm as the spill affects the residents on the other side of Heidelberg road.

The sodium lights on the overpass do light up the trainig area in a minimal way. we need to follow up the installation of the flood light over the training area.

Rapier
Gilbert brought his rapier gear but didn't have anyone to train with. I expect that it'll be better next week.
