Tuesday night fighter training 12th Jan 2010

Tonight was the first "normal" training session. The weather was about 22 degrees Celcius and was perfect for training but had been VERY hot the previous day and during the earlier part of the day.

There was heavy fighting, Rapier and Crafthall.

Heavy fighting was with:

Rodrigo of Abbotsford
Brodhir
Jeffery
Geoff Arrowsreach visitor
Phillipe New trainee

It was Phillipe's second time in armour and enjoyed himself. He needs to be shown some elementary techniques.
He and Geoff were discussing making their own armour.

Most of the training involved giving philipe a fun time in armour. A bit of duscussion about assumed armour, taking blows and general basics.General sparring otherwise.

Gilbert of Abbotsford
Lord William from Innilgard.

Both groups trained outside until it was dusk then the Rapier folk went inside to continue. The heavies played outside until about 9:20 when it started to rain enough to put us off.
