Barony of Stormhold

The March Monthly Bash will be on this Sunday.

However, the local cricket club need to have their Final for the cricket
season. They are fully aware that we have the permanent booking for
every Sunday but have asked us if they can use the oval for this time
only.

I have agreed to this. We will hold our bash on the upper oval instead.
For those unfamiliar with this, there is a smaller field up behind the
Storage Container where we can carry out all of our usual activities.

Parking will also be tight as the cricket folk will no doubt use the
spaces too. I suggest folk try parking in Toronga Road. There is a
carpark in that side that may be open for car parking too.

A quiet, low key potluck feast.

An opportunity to chat with friends and have a pleasant time before THE HORDES of new St Barts members descend upon us after O'week.

Where
We will meet at the BBQ shelter at the Darebin Parklands.

What to bring
A plate of medieval food to share, feast gear, picnic rugs to share, drinks etc.

This is a Real Tournament that usually occurs on the first Sunday of each month and shows off the fighting talents of the local fighters. We also hold court, chat, picnic,do archery, sew, and wear medieval clothes. Monthly Bash has been going for Twenty Years and is a great way to participate in a fun medieval setting.

The Cairnfell Punitive Expedition

Background
In the summer of A.S. XL1 the Cairnfell Surveying Expeditions of the Baronies of Innilgard and Stormhold set forth. The aim was to determine whether the region fell under the domain of his Excellency Baron Innilgard or his Excellency Baron Stormhold.

In the course of their endeavors they were set upon by bandits and wild men of this remote region of the realm. After a series of skirmishes in which the forces of the two Barons acquitted themselves with a degree of competence, they were met by combined forces of bandits and local hill men.

January Bash is happening!

An Annual event held every year inside the charming and beautiful MT Franklin.

Date: Saturday 17th November, 2007
Time: 11am - 4pm
Address: MT Franklin. 8 km north of Daylesford on the Midland HWY. (Daylesford-Castlemaine Rd) Event Cost: $4 members, $6 non-members. Kids under 16 free.

Come and join our king and Queen for a relaxed afternoon in a tranquil setting. There will be a heavy tournament (style depending on participants) and a quest for the kids. Join us in the maypole dance! Be warned that were-beasts have been sighted in the area and attendees may be asked to assist in the discovery of their identity in order to drive them from our peaceful lands.

A chivalric weapons tourney will be held on Saturday, December 1st. at
Darling Gardens, Hoddle Street, Clifton Hill (Melways 2C-H3) from 11 AM,
followed by a catered feast at St.Brigits Hall. Nicholson Street, North
Fitzroy, (Melways 2C-A4) from 5PM.

on sale from the autocrat from the 1st of October to the 29th of
