In the tradition of our forefathers of the West, the time draws near for all noble combatants to find the truth of all measure. The time has come to test one’s physical and mental prowess upon the field of noble combat and to display proof of virtue and earn renown for the love of one’s consort and devotion to their household. The proof of endurance exposes true honour and prowess through the spectacle of tournament.

The Baronies of Innilgard and Ynys Fawr and the Shire of Arrowsreach are proud to announce the second Great Southern Gathering, a series of classes on all things SCA. As in 2009, the aim of the Gathering is to provide an environment for the teaching of various combat and A&S subjects in a relaxed atmosphere. Classes will be taught throughout the weekend, while Sunday is a day for tourneys and various combat related activities.
Garb is optional for classes on the Saturday, required for the feast on Saturday night and Sunday activities.

Unfortunately due to a lack of booking numbers, InterCollege War will not be
going ahead in July. At this stage, the College of Blessed Herman is looking
to defer it until December, and is currently looking at available dates and
will be consulting with the other Colleges.

After a few years hiatus and a change of public holidays (facilitating a time change), the Green Event is back. With its origins steeped in the dim, deep, mystic past when Tyr Glas was a driving force in the Barony, the Green Event is and remains one of Innilgard's finest traditions. With the gracious permission of Tyr Glas, Master Drake is hoping to revive and continue the tradition.

This year's Innilgard Winter Collegium is not far away!
This year collegium will be a 2 day event full of classes.
The collegium is a garbed event. Please bring a picnic lunch.
Tea and coffee will be available for a gold coin donation.
There will be some activities available for children, but it will be the responsibility of parents to supervise them.
