FightingWar Training4th Sunday of the month Combat is, of course, a major focus of activity in the SCA. Tournaments are all well and good - a stylised spectator sport, and a lot of fun besides! However, to really get your blood pumping, there's nothing like a good old-fashioned war! War is different from a tournament - and not just because you've got arrows flying everywhere. It's not enough to be a good fighter, able to take down any other fighter you meet. Tactics, movement, integration with your teammates - this is what is required to be a force to be reckoned with on the warfield. Tuesday Fighter Training and CrafthallCome to Stormhold's Fighter training and Craft Hall. Every Tuesday in Kensington from 7 pm to 10 pm. What happens at Fighter Training? Rapier: We specialise in getting new fighters into armour and providing basic skills and know-how for the fighting arts. Please wear stout footwear preferably with ankle support and suitable clothing. If you have a sports protector bring that too. What happens at Crafthall? Fiat LuxPlease visit the Fiat Lux site and sign the petition to keep Lochac traditions. This is the start of the petition.
