SURVEYING EXPEDITION MMX

Last year we celebrated the long weekend in January by roasting a sheep, learning how to prepare chickens for the pot, camping, fighting, feasting in the open, enjoying meals cooked over an open fire, shooting with our bows and taking the children on pony rides!

This year we intend to do it all again! Only this time we will be preparing rabbits for the pot, having a range of organised children’s activities, Arts and Sciences collegia and market day. We will also be watching an equestrian display as well as having the opportunity to explore the role that horses can play in the SCA.

William Marshal Memorial Tourney and Feast, Stormhold

This will be a Royal Event, with Their Majesties King Gabriel and Queen Constanzia attending

A chivalric weapons tourney will be held on at Circle of Trees, Edinburgh Gardens, Alfred Court, North Fitzroy (Melways 2C-E1) from 11 AM, followed by a catered feast at Bokscai Hall. StGeorges Road, North Fitzroy, (Melways 2C-C1) from 5PM.

Places for the feast are limited, please book soon to avoid disappointment.

Polish your shoes and bring out the frocks for the Bal d'Argent will be held in the Shire of Krae Glas.
Hall opens at midday with a light lunch, followed by various dance and musical workshops. The will be a short break before the ball starting at 6.30pm. A full dance card is planned along with the competition dances.

For those without cars, public transport is quite close by.

Cost: $25 before Midwinter (July 5th), $30 after, and $35 at the door, with an additional $2 for non-members.

St Vitas Dance and Music Weekend

Come and join us for two days of dance and music classes, with lunches and afternoon tea provided, and a supper and ball from 6pm on Saturday.
