Fína ingen uí Scolaighe

Playing since: February, 2001 in Rowany, with a brief period in the Kingdom of An Tir in 1994.

Costuming Focus? 12th century Ulaid (Northern Ireland). A difficult period to costume since there is no extant clothing, no pretty pictures to work from and the literary evidence is either before or after this period. I make alot of educated guesses!

Other SCA Interests: Period archery and bowyering. Anything textile - drop spinning, tabletweaving, dyeing, cultivating dye plants, and embroidery are the current projects. I'd like to try some Irish leatherwork - embossing satchels and bookbindings. I am also researching period sheep breeds in Ireland and plan to run a small flock in future.

Web Page? Not yet, but it's in production.
